Wednesday morning our "satellite guy" (that sounds like a movie title) was supposed to install our internet service. Upon arrival and examination of the property it became apparent that the only location that would work properly was right in front of the house. Oh, and by the way, this is a 40" dish and not one of those small 18" DirectTV dishes. Oh, and by the way, we can't install it today because we have to determine, through PAOneCall, where the existing utilities are before we dig the holes and cable channel.
On top of all that, I just didn't have the heart to have it cemented into the middle of the front lawn.
So we are going to try another technology avenue. MiFi. It's like a cellular "air card" that functions as a portable HotSpot. We'll give it a try.
